Robert Eugene Rentfrow, 74, of Jacksonville, Illinois passed away at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, March 29, 2018, in his residence.
Robert was born March 8, 1944, in Cumberland County, Illinois, the son of Roland C. and Emily M. (Walk) Rentfrow. Robert operated a body shop and he loved woodworking, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Deaf Club in Jacksonville, Illinois. Robert leaves two daughters, Lisa Rentfrow and Caroline Rentfrow both of Belleville, IL: two brothers, Roland D. “Ronnie” Rentfrow and wife Marilyn of Neoga, IL and John Rentfrow of Shelbyville, IL; one sister, Diane Ballinger and husband Danny of Neoga, IL.
Mr. Rentfrow was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Robert J. Rentfrow.
A Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 4, 2018, in the Swengel-O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, IL, with The Rev. Father, Sunder Ery officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 A. M., Wednesday, until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery of Neoga, Illinois.
