Cameron John Scott, infant son of Zachary and Monica Scott, came into this world on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. He passed away in the loving arms of his parents on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Though Cameron’s time with his family was short, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by those around him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham with a private burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Services are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham.
Cameron is survived by his parents, Zachary and Monica; brother, Nolan; grandparents, Marcy and Julie Scott and John and Denise Lin; aunts and uncles, Meghan and Cory Wahl, Brady and Shayna Scott, Marissa and Jase Taylor, and Jarod and Sarah Lin; great-grandparents, Max and Cheryl Scott; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Eldon and Judy Joergens, Donald and Oka Mae Dasenbrock, and Steven and Irene Lin.
