David Pilman, age 83, of Kinmundy, Illinois passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood with a visitation one-hour prior to the service. Michael Durre will be officiating. Interment will be at Red Brush Cemetery in Louisville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the donor’s choice.
David was born on December 25, 1940 in Kinmundy, Illinois, the son of Harvey Lee and Evelyn Lucille (Aumiller) Pilman. He married Mary Jo Joliff on December 6, 1975 in Alma, Illinois. David enjoyed camping and had a special love for antique cars and farm equipment.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Pilman; and daughters, Sarah Pilman and Sharon Pilman all of Kinmundy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Evelyn Pilman; brother, Charles “Bud” Pilman; and sister, Wanda Pilman.
