Donna Lynn Allison, 52

Donna Lynn Allison, age 52, of Yale, Illinois, passed away at 8:10 PM – Sunday, January 19, 2025, comfortably in the arms of her husband Rob, at the home of her father-in-law and mother-in-law in rural Willow Hill, Illinois.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM – Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the West End Reception and Event Venue
202 Museum Drive, Newton, IL

A service celebrating Donna’s life will be held following, with the burial in Mound Cemetery in rural Willow Hill, Illinois.  In loving memory of Donna, memorials may be made to Saved by Grace.

Donna Lynn was born on August 2, 1972, in Urbana, Illinois, the daughter of Donald and Lanita (Bowers) Hayden.  She graduated from Urbana High School with the Class of 1990. After high school she pursued a degree in nursing, ultimately obtaining her bachelor’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner.  She left a lasting impression on those that worked alongside her from West Virginia to Illinois with her care and compassion.

Donna was united in marriage to Robert Allison on May 15, 2010, in Wytheville, Virginia.

Donna could light up a room with her smile.  She simply had a way of making you feel her love through a hug or a sweet compliment.  She loved BIG, her husband, family, Halloween, golf, fishing, knitting, animals especially her Alpacas, playing darts and board games.  In June 2022, Donna alongside her husband Rob purchased Parklanes in Newton, Illinois, bringing her passion for the community and people to the business.  She gave selflessly of herself and her time to causes near to her heart.  Donna never complained and was always smiling, enjoying life and living it to the fullest.

Donna is survived by Husband of 14 years – Robert Allison of Yale, Illinois, Son – Andrew (wife Bailey) Ellison of Danville, Illinois, Daughter – Carissa Rokos of Effingham, Illinois, Granddaughter – Isabella Rose Ellison, Father and Step-Mother – Donald and Tammy Hayden of Urbana, Illinois, Sisters – Dyana Hayden of Kankakee, Illinois and Debbie (husband Paul) Williams of Homer, Illinois, Nieces and Nephews – Emerson Williams, Hayden Williams, Kaylee Allison, Brynlee Allison and Bree Allison, Father-in law and Mother-in-law – Melvin and Susan Allison of Willow Hill, Illinois, Sister-in-law Bonnie (husband Richard) Wilson of Buffalo, Wyoming, Brother-in-law Brady and Kara Allison of Mahomet, Illinois.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother Lanita Hayden and brother Donald Hayden, Jr.
